The Touchstone Legacy Foundation exists to advance understanding and trauma‑informed responses at the intersection of trauma, domestic violence, and traumatic brain injury. We work to make invisible injuries visible by increasing awareness, reducing harm caused by misunderstanding, and supporting more informed, compassionate systems of care.
We provide education‑focused resources, tools, and trainings designed to help individuals, organizations, and systems better recognize and respond to trauma‑ and violence‑related brain injury. Our work includes accessible educational briefs, written and recorded learning materials, and practical guidance that supports trauma‑informed, survivor‑centered practice without replacing direct services or clinical care.
Our approach is grounded in lived experience, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to ethical, trauma‑informed engagement. We focus on education, clarity, and systems awareness—bridging gaps between domestic violence advocacy, brain injury knowledge, and trauma‑informed practice to strengthen responses across communities and organizations.
